Compensation represents the largest of all expenses in most organizations. With such high stakes on the table, there is an enormous demand for innovative business practices which requires more than traditional compensation packages and a closer look at pay-for-performance models for more effective bottom-line business results. The objective of this HR Functional Technical Competence module is to comprehend and analyze the components of compensation and benefits to employees, and to learn how leading companies are designing new strategies and implementing creative compensation programs which are driving immediate results for long-term sustainability in this complex environment.
Desired Target Participants:
The program will be designed for HR Practitioners with 3-7 years work experience. The workshop will enable you to understand case study based practitioners approach to compensation from the corporate point of view and the right and effective methods to managing these compensation plans so that your organization rewards the right staff the right way.
The Faculty
Girish Gupta: Head HR-Compensation & Benefits, Cairn India Limited.
Girish Gupta is the Head HR-Compensation & Benefits at Cairn India Limited. He has around 27 years work experience in the field of Human Resources & Finance. Has been with Cairn India since 2006 and has had stints with firms like Transocean & Schlumberger Ltd group of companies (Both the companies are MNC’s operating in various countries in the world and provide their services to all the Oil & Gas companies on a worldwide basis). He has worked with the above companies in various countries and in India. Positions held were Country - Chief Financial Officer and in Region offices at Singapore & France as - Region Tax Manager. Girish is a Fellow Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
Nitin Pande: Associate Vice President & Head Global Compensation and Benefits-HCL Technologies
Nitin has over 15 years of experience in various aspects of HR, which has developed him into a Strategic and Business HR professional. With 15 years of HR Domain experience, Nitin’s career is marked with exposure to multiple roles spread across various HR functions. Working as, Associate Vice President and handling Global Compensation & Benefits CoE for HCL Technologies he is responsible for initiating and implementing Strategic HR initiatives across the all countries. Nitin holds an Engineering Degree along with an MBA and has many industry recognized certifications to his credit. Nitin has been with HCL for close to 5 years and has previously worked with companies like Nestle India & General Motors India.
