Event Account brief

The AGM followed by the Special event, held on 28th April 2010 “Redefining IR: Future Trends of Employee Relations in the Emerging Sectors” at PHD House, PHD Chambers of Commerce, New Delhi was the last event for the present team with the announcement of the new team of leadership for 2010-2012.

The event began with the traditional practice of recitation of the Code of conduct. Mr. N S Rajan paid a tribute to late Dr C.S.Venkata Ratnam for his immeasurable contribution to NHRDN and the HR Fraternity.

Mr. Anubhab Goel, Hon. Secretary Delhi Chapter invited Mr. S Y Siddiqui to share the achievements and accomplishments of Delhi Chapter with the participant members. The Executive Team inaugurated the Secretary’s & Auditor’s Report. Mr. S Y Siddiqui invited Mr. P Dwarkanath to announce and introduce the new executive team. The old team bid adieu and welcomed the new team with its President, Mr. Suresh Tripathi, President HR, SRF Ltd.; Vice President, Mr. Rajneesh Bawa, Director HR, India & SE Asia, CNH; Vice President, Mr. Rajneesh Singh, Group Head - Human Resource, Network 18 and Hon. Secretary, Mr. Anil Gaur, GM – HR, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

Mr. S Y Siddiqui moderator of the evening session invited the panel speaker to start the session on the theme of the evening. The panelist senior HR professionals gave vent to their thoughts on IR.  Mr. Saurav Daspatnaik talked about the various issues of Industrial relations and how it has evolved from a ‘master slave relation’ to ‘coworkers’ in the present business scenario. Mr. P Dwarkanath vividly discussed the challenges related to Industrial Relations and employee relations . Mr. Rajiv Sahdev shared his experience on how to manage the workforce and create an environment where thousands of employees can work. Last but not the least Mr. S Y Siddiqui created a dynamic environment by moderating the session to bring out the best from each of the eminent HR personalities  and shared his experience on managing huge workforce. The panelist received a number of questions from the audience covering all aspects of Industrial relations and the emerging trends of employee relations which were well answered by the speakers.

The event came to an end with floral felicitation and ‘votes of thanks given by the new Honorary Secretary Mr. Anil Gaur.
